Should I replace gutters with a new roof?
If the gutters are old or the fascia behind them is soft, yes. It is easier to do both at once, and new drip edge ties into new gutters properly.
Do gutter guards really work?
Good guards greatly reduce clogs. No guard is maintenance-free, but they turn twice-a-year cleanouts into an occasional check.
Why do my gutters overflow even when they are clean?
Usually not enough slope, too few downspouts, or gutters that are too small for the roof area. We measure and fix the cause.
Do gutters cause ice dams?
Ice dams start with attic heat loss, but clogged, frozen gutters make them worse. Clean, well-pitched gutters plus good attic ventilation help.
